Alexander Girard Nativity Set

MORGAN: Alexander Girard amassed a huge collection of nativities, most of which he spent the last years of his life curating for his wing at the International Museum of Folk Art in Santa Fe. House Industries decided it would be an appropriate homage to create a completely new nativity that is based on a Girard illustration that hangs in his son’s house. It's not cheap, but it sure would be worth it!

CARRIE: I love these cut-out maps by Famille Summerbelle. One is in the U.S., in keeping with Morgan's theme from yesterday, but I couldn't resist showing two of my other favorite cities as well.

The folks of Random Collective designed this awesome website chronicling New York based singer-songwriter Orba Squara’s journey across some of the United States to commemorate his second album.
