CARRIE: This cover art from the May 1948 issue of Seventeen magazine is an example of the work of Cipe Pineles. She definitely set a groundbreaking standard for the look of women's magazines with her work at Seventeen, Glamour, Mademoiselle and Charm during the 1940's and 50's.
